Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya status kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa kelas III SDN Jedong Cangkring Kecamatan Prambon Sidoarjo 2013 dengan nilai rata-rata OHI-S 3, 15 dalam kategori jelek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa kelas III SDN Jedong Cangkring 288 Kecamatan Prambon Sidoarjo 2013. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Jedong Cangkring 288 Kecamatan Prambon Sidoarjo 2013 dengan sampel sebanyak 38 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar kuisioner serta cara analisis data menggunakan presentase rata-rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pengetahuan tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut termasuk dalam kategori jelek
