Abstract
Masalah penelitian ini adalah tingginya karies dengan nilai def-t 6,4 dengan kriteria sangat tinggi pada anak PAUD Rembulan Surabaya. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan ibu. Tujuan penelitian ini diketahuinya gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang karies pada anak usia dini di PAUD Rembulan Kenjeran, Surabaya, tahun 2019. Penelitian ini bersifat Deskriptif dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan persentase. Pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dibagi menjadi 4 bagian yaitu pengertian gigi berlubang, penyebab terjadinya gigi berlubang, akibat gigi berlubang, cara mencegah gigi berlubang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang karies gigi anak usia dini PAUD Rembulan Kenjeran Surabaya dalam kategori buruk.
