Abstract

Aliyatul Mukharomah POTENSI ALAT INJECTION KLORINASI DALAM MENURUNKAN MPN COLIFORM PADA LIMBAH CAIR DI INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR LIMBAH RUMAH SAKIT GRIYA HUSADA MADIUN TAHUN 2024 (xvii Halaman Permulaan + 80 Halaman + 8 Tabel + 11 Gambar + 19 Lampiran) Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Rumah Sakit haruslah memiliki pengolahan limbah yang lengkap yang dimulai pre-treatment hingga desinfektan. Pentingnya pengolahan atau perawatan akhir pada tangki outlet Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah adalah harus dilakukan proses desinfeksi agar bakteri hidup musnah pada proses tersebut. Parameter yang belum terpenuhi yaitu sisa chlor di bak outlet masih 0 mg/l yang seharusnya menurut Busyairi, 2016 haruslah memiliki kadar sisa chlor untuk membunuh bakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas alat injection klorinasi dalam menurunkan MPN Coliform yang ada pada air limbah. Dengan cara mengukur konsentrasi kaporit dan kadar sisa chlor Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Postest. Dianalisa secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui efektivitas alat klorinasi. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan cara grab sampling menggunakan 3 replikasi sebelum dan sesudah diklorinasi dalam waktu 5 hari sehingga total sampel berjumlah 30 sampel. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh efektvitas penurunan tertinggi kadar sisa chlor terdapat pada hari ke-1 yaitu sebesar 85% yang awalnya 150,3 mg/l menjadi 22 mg/l. Diikuti oleh efektivitas penurunan parameter MPN Coliform tertinggi pada hari ke-1 yaitu sebesar 64% yang awalnya 250 MPN/100ml menjadi 81 MPN/100ml. Kesimpulan yang dapat diketahui dengan debit konstan larutan kaporit 100 ml/menit mampu menghasikan variasi konsentrasi kaporit antara 45 mg/l-167 mg/l dengan kemampuan daya sergap chlor berkisar 35 mg/l-142 mg/l sehingga mampu menurunkan MPN Coliform sebesar 54% dan masih menghasilkan sisa chlor 6 mg/l-25 mg/l. The importance of final processing or maintenance in the outlet tank of a Waste Water Treatment Plant is that a disinfection process must be carried out so that living bacteria are destroyed in the process. The parameter that has not been met is that the residual chlorine in the outlet tank is still 0 mg/l which according to Busyairi, 2016 should have residual chlorine levels to kill bacteria. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of chlorination injection equipment in reducing MPN Coliforms in wastewater. By measuring the chlorine concentration and residual chlorine levels The type of research used was pre-experiment in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest. Analyzed descriptively to determine the effectiveness of the chlorination tool. The sampling method used was grab sampling using 3 replications before and after chlorination within 5 days so that the total sample was 30 samples. From the research results, it was found that the highest effectiveness of reducing residual chlorine levels was on day 1, namely 85%, from initially 150.3 mg/l to 22 mg/l. Followed by the effectiveness of reducing the highest MPN Coliform parameters on day 1, namely 64%, from initially 250 MPN/100ml to 81 MPN/100ml. The conclusion that can be seen is that a constant discharge of chlorine solution of 100 ml/minute can produce variations in chlorine concentration between 45 mg/l-167 mg/l with a chlorine absorption capacity of around 35 mg/l- 142 mg/l so that it can reduce MPN Coliform by 54 % and still produces residual chlorine of 6 mg/l-25 mg/l.
