Abstract
Peran keluarga masih kurang dalam perawatan salah satunya yaitu pengaturan diet hipertensi dengan benar. Dukungan keluarga sangat dibutuhkan untuk penderita hipertensi dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan menjalankan diet yang dianjurkan karena keluarga merupakan unit terdekat dengan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dukungan keluarga pada pelaksanaan diet hipertensi di wilayah kedung peluk RW 04 Candi Sidoarjo. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu dukungan keluarga. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu 20 keluarga. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian dari 20 keluarga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat responden dengan dukungan emosional baik sejumlah 12 (60%) keluarga, dukungan instrumental baik sebanyak 11 (55%) keluarga, dukungan informasional baik sebanyak 10 (50%) keluarga, dan dukungan penghargaan baik sebanyak 15 (75%) keluarga. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan yaitu sebagian keluarga memberikan dukungan baik pada pelaksanaan diet hipertensi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan keluarga dapat lebih memberikan dukungan maupun perhatian dan informasi terhadap anggota keluarga sehingga semangat dan tetap melaksanakan diet hipertensi.
