Abstract
Perilaku merokok pada remaja merupakan kebiasaan buruk yang berdampak lebih jauh bagi kesehatan dan emosional remaja, berdasarkan survey awal di MTs Al Mustofawiyah terdapat 21 siswa yang merokok. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran sikap dan perilaku remaja tentang bahaya merokok di ruang lingkup MTs Al Mustofawiyah Palang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif, dengan adanya pendekatan waktu Cross Sectional. Ditujukan kepada seluruh siswa/siswi di MTs Al Mustofawiyah Palang sejumlah 200 siswa dengan sampel 133 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik Purposive Sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data mengunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Analisa data ini menggunakan deskriptif dengan tabel distribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian di MTs Al Mustofawiyah Palang membuktikan sebagian besar remaja laki-laki yang berumur 14 tahun ada yang sudah positif kecanduan merokok, dan sebagian besar lagi remaja berperilaku pasif yang tidak memiliki keingingan untuk merokok. Promosi kesehatan ditunjukan dengan metode edukasi dan pengawasan lebih lanjut untuk menambah pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya merokok sehingga mengurangi jumlah pelaku merokok remaja di Indonesia
