Abstract
ABSTRAK Pencemaran air adalah peristiwa masuknya zat atau komponen lain kedalam perairan, contoh sumber pencemar perairan adalah rumah pemotongan ayam (RPA) karena mengandung zat organik yang tinggi, dan tidak memiliki IPAL dikarenakan kurangnya modal. DTBP BOD di sungai beban eksitingnya sudah melampui yaitu 23.379,84 kg/hari. Kandungan BOD yang tinggi pada air sungai akan berpotensi mengandung cemaran mikroba. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Potensi pencemaran air secara biologis dari polutan Industri Rumah Pemotongan Ayam Tradisional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Deskriptif dengan Desain pendekatan ekologi. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu air sumur dan air sungai, sedangkan sampelnya adalah di titik saluran pembuangan sebelum masuk ke badan air, di badan air yang berjarak 50meter sesudah dari titik jatuhnya air limbah, di badan air yang berjarak 50meter sebelum dari titik jatuhnya air limbah, dan air sumur yang berjarak 11meter dari sungai. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah air limbah RPA mengandung Bakteri Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, pada jarak 50m sebelum melewati outlet pembuangan air limbah tidak mengandung Bakteri Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, pada sungai yang berjarak 50m sesudah melewati outlet pembuangan air limbah mengandung Bakteri Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, dan pada air sumur yang berjarak 11meter dari sungai sekitar RPA tidak mengandung bakteri. Bakteri masih terdapat pada jarak 50meter sesudah dari titik jatuhnya air limbah dikarenakan air sungai terdapat aerasi dan kondisi arus sungai yang laminer Dimana percampuran air limbah belum sempurna. Air sungai setelah menerima buangan air limbah RPA mengandung bakteri Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, untuk mengetahui adanya penurunan dan peningkatan kandungan bakteri diharapkan pelakukan penelitian secara kuantitaif. Kata Kunci: Air Limbah RPA, Sungai, Bakteri Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. ABSTRACT Water pollution is the entry of substances or other components into waters, an example of a source of water pollution is a chicken slaughterhouse (RPA) because it contains high organic substances, and does not have an IPAL due to lack of capital. Based on these results, this study aims to determine the potential for biological water pollution from pollutants of the Traditional Chicken Slaughterhouse Industry. This research is a descriptive study with an ecological approach design. The population of this study is well water and river water. At the same time, the samples are at the point of the sewer before entering the water body, in the water body 50 meters after the end of the fall of wastewater, 50 meters before the point of fall of sewage, and well water 11 meters from the river. The result of this study is RPA wastewater contains Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Bacteria, at a distance of 50m before passing the wastewater discharge outlet does not contain Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Bacteria. distance of 50m before passing through the wastewater disposal outlet does not contain Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria, in the river that is 50m after passing through the wastewater disposal outlet contains Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and in well water 11 meters away from the river around the RPA does not contain bacteria. RPA does not contain bacteria. Bacteria are still present at a distance of 50 meters after the point of from the point where the wastewater falls because the river water is aerated and has laminar conditions of the laminar river flow where the mixing of wastewater is not perfect. Water River after receiving RPA wastewater discharges contains the bacteria Pseudomonas Aeruginosa to determine the decrease and increase in bacterial content, which is expected to conduct quantitative research. bacteria is expected to do quantitative research.
