Abstract
UJI EFEKTIVITAS VARIASI DOSIS BIJI KELOR (Moringa oleifera) UNTUK PENURUNAN KEKERUHAN AIR SENDANG DI DUSUN BENDIL DESA BERBEK KECAMATAN BERBEK KABUPATEN NGANJUK xvi+ 51 Halaman + 12 Tabel + 6 Gambar + 10 Lampiran Air yang memiliki kadar kekeruhan tinggi berdampak terhadap kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Salah satu cara pengolahan air untuk menurunkan kekeruhan yaitu menggunakan bahan koagulan seperti menggunakan koagulan alami dari serbuk biji kelor (Moringa oleifera) yang dapat digunakan sebagai penjernihan air dan merupakan bahan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas variasi dosis serbuk biji kelor (Moringa oleifera) untuk penurunan kekeruhan air sendang di Dusun Bendil Desa Berbek Kecamatan Berbek Kabupaten Nganjuk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok tunggal pre test-perlakuan-pos test. Variabel bebas, variasi dosis serbuk biji kelor (Moringa oleifera). Variabel terikat, penurunan kekeruhan pada air sendang. Terdapat 3 variasi dosis koagulan yang digunakan, yaitu 5 mg/l, 10 mg/l, dan 15 mg/l. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah uji anova satu arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penjernihan air dengan serbuk biji kelor (Moringa oleifera) sebanyak 5 mg/l penurunan 76,47%, dosis 10 mg/l penurunan 72,87%, dan dosis 15 mg/l penurunan 68,50%. Dosis yang efektif untuk penurunan kadar kekeruhan ialah variasi dosis 5 mg/l. Hasil uji analisis anova satu arah , yaitu ada perbedaan variasi dosis penambahan serbuk biji kelor (Moringa oleifera) terhadap penurunan kadar kekeruhan pada air sendang di Dusun Bendil Desa Berbek Kecamatan Berbek Kabupaten Nganjuk. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya ialah pengukuran kadar kekeruhan dengan dosis 5 mg/l dengan waktu pengendapan lebih lama dari 20 menit. One way to treat water to reduce turbidity is to use a coagulant, such as using a natural coagulant from Moringa oleifera seed powder which can be used to purify water and is an environmentally friendly material. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of varying doses of Moringa oleifera seed powder for reducing spring water turbidity in Bendil Hamlet, Berbek Village, Berbek District, Nganjuk Regency. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a single group pre-test�treatment-post-test design. Independent variable, variation in dose of Moringa oleifera seed powder. Dependent variable, decrease in turbidity in spring water. There are 3 variations of coagulant dosage used, namely 5 mg/l, 10 mg/l, and 15 mg/l. The data analysis used was a one-way anova test. The results of the research showed that the water purification process with Moringa oleifera seed powder at 5 mg/l decreased by 76.47%, a dose of 10 mg/l decreased by 72.87%, and a dose of 15 mg/l decreased by 68.50%. The effective dose for reducing turbidity levels is a dose variation of 5 mg/l. The results of the one-way ANOVA analysis test, namely that there were differences in variations in the dose of adding moringa seed powder (Moringa oleifera) to reducing turbidity levels in spring water in Bendil Hamlet, Berbek Village, Berbek District, Nganjuk Regency. Suggestions for further researchers are to measure turbidity levels at a dose of 5 mg/l with a settling time longer than 20 minutes.
