Abstract
Kesehatan gigi dan mulut erat kaitannya dengan kebersihan gigi dan mulut Kebersihan gigi dan mulut dapat menentukan tingkat kesehatan gigi dan mulut seseorang. Nilai tingkat kebersihan gigi dan mulut dapat di ukur dengan Oral Hygiene Index Simplified (OHI-S). Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka rata-rata OHI-S yaitu 3,4 artinya tingkat kebersihan masyarakat Desa Sidorejo RT 02 RW 08 Pare dalam kriteria buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada masyarakat di Desa Sidorejo RT 02 RW 08 Pare pada .Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian 60 orang warga di Desa Sidorejo RT 02 RW 08 Pare. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik penelitian data dan analisa data dengan mempersentasekan dan menyajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan analisa data. hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang pemeliharaan tentang kebersihan gigi dan mulut masyarakat Desa Sidorejo RT 02 RW 08 Pare termasuk dalam kriteria sedang
