Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan pada tanggal 7 Desember 2019 pada siswa kelas 1 SDN Kawedusan 2 Kecamatan Plosoklaten Kabupaten Kediri yang berjumlah 38 siswa, ditemukan hampir semua anak terkena karies gigi dan hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan persentase karies gigi adalah 92,11 % dan persentase bebas karies gigi adalah 7,89 % dari 38 siswa. Pengetahuan merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menyebabkan rendahnya persentase bebas karies pada siswa kelas 1 SDN Kawedusan 2 Kecamatan Plosoklaten Kabupaten Kediri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu tentang karies pada siswa kelas 1 SDN Kawedusan 2 Kabupaten Kediri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah ibu dari siswa kelas 1 SDN Kawedusan 2 Kecamatan Plosoklaten Kabupaten Kediri.tahun 2020 sebanyak 38 orang dan tidak menggunakan sampel. Metode pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah persentase rata-rata
