Abstract
ABSTRAK Kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja disebabkan karena pekerja kurang mematuhi peraturan yang telah ada. Salah satu upaya pengendalian tersebut dapat menggunakan APD. ketidakpatuhan disebabkan perilaku pekerja seperti pengetahuan, tindakan, dan sikap pekerja. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui nilai pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan dan kepatuhan penggunaan APD dan hubungan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pekerja dengan kepatuhan penggunaan APD. Penelitian Observsional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara. Jumlah pekerja 50 pekerja dengan sampel 33 diambil secara random sampling pada pekerja shift pagi dengan ketentuan hanya karyawan bagian minor assembling tidak termasuk admin. Data dianalisis dengan analitik menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitia nilai pengetahuan (75,8%) baik, sikap (54,5%) positif, dan tindakan (57,6%) memakai APD tidak lengkap. Dari uji chi-square tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap kepatuhan penggunaan APD, akan tetapi ada hubungan antara tindakan terhadap kepatuhan penggunaan APD. Faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan seperti ketersediaan APD, kenyamanan APD, safety ralk, pengawasan dan sanksi. Kesimpulan penelitian pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pekerja di bagian Minor Assembling tidak mempengaruhi kepatuan penggunaan APD, akan tetapi ada faktor dari tindakan yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan penggunaan APD dan faktor lain yang mempengaruhinya. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi pekerja dengan penghargaan bagi yang tertib dan sanksi bagi yang tidak tertib pnggunaan APD ada saat bekerja. Bagi peneliti lain dapat meneliti hubungan ktersediaan APD, pengawasan, kenyamanan APD dengan kepatuhan dalam penggunaan APD. One of the control efforts can use PPE. noncompliance is caused by worker behavior such as knowledge, actions, and attitudes of workers. The research objective was to determine the value of knowledge, attitudes, actions and compliance with the use of PPE and the relationship between knowledge, attitudes and actions of workers with compliance with the use of PPE. Observational research with a cross sectional approach. Data collection by observation and interviews. The number of workers is 50 workers with a sample of 33 taken by random sampling of morning shift workers with the provision that only employees in the minor assembling section do not include the admin. Data were analyzed by means of analytic using chi-square test. The results of the study showed that knowledge (75.8%) was good, attitude (54.5%) was positive, and action (57.6%) was incomplete. From the chi-square test there is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards compliance with the use of PPE, but there is a relationship between action on compliance with the use of PPE. Other factors that affect compliance such as the availability of PPE, comfort of PPE, safety rack, supervision and sanctions. The conclusion of the research is that the knowledge, attitudes and actions of workers in the Minor Assembling section do not affect the appropriate use of PPE, but there are factors of action that affect compliance with the use of PPE and other factors that influence it. The suggestion from this study is to increase worker motivation with rewards for those who are orderly and sanctions for those who are not orderly when using PPE while working. For other researchers, they can examine the relationship between the availability of PPE, supervision, comfort of PPE with adherence to the use of PPE.
