Abstract
TINGKAT PENYEBARAN PENCEMARAN AKIBAT LIMBAH PENYAMAKAN KULIT DISUNGAI DUNGMERI DESA MOJOPURNO KECAMATAN NGARIBOYO KABUPATEN MAGETAN TAHUN 2023 Gebi Tri Yuliana1, Sunaryo2,Vincentius Supriyono3 Jurusan Sanitasi Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya E-mail: gebiyuliana@gmail.com ABSTRAK Sungai Dungmeri yang terletak di Kecamatan Ngariboyo Kabupaten Magetan merupakan salah satu sungai yang menjadi tempat pembuangan limbah cair dari industri penyamakan kulit. Air sungai yang terletak di Kecamatan Ngariboyo Kabupaten Magetan tersebut menjadi terlihat keruh, bau tak sedap dan bewarna keabu-abuan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penyebaran pencemaran air sungai Dungmeri Kecamatan Ngariboyo Kabupaten Magetan sebagai sebagai penerima badan air penerima limbah cair industry penyamakan kulit dengan cara pemeriksaan laboratorium dan mebandingkan dengan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian Deskriptif, Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pengambilan sampel air sungai Dungmeri, pengiriman dikirim ke laboratorium dan pemeriksaan dilakukan di laboratorium. Sampel air diambil di 5 titik yaitu 50 m sebelum outlet, outlet, 50 m sesudah outlet , 250 m, dan 500 m dari sumber pencemar. Pengambilan sampel pada sungai dilakukan menggunakan pengambilan contoh gabungan waktu. Penyebaran pencemaran buangan limbah industry penyamakan kulit di sungai Dungmeri terlihat pada grafik bahwa parameter BOD dan COD mengalami penurunan pencemaran pada jarak 500 m. Untuk itu kepada masyarakat di sarankan agar ikut menjaga lingkungan dan melakukan pengawasan terhadap pebuangan limbah industry penyamakan kulit untuk pihak pabrik/industry penyamakan kulit untuk melakukan upaya peningkatan pengolahan air limbah agar air buangan limbah tidak mencemari lingkungan atau mencemari air sungai. The river water which is located in the Ngariboyo District, Magetan Regency, looks cloudy, smells bad and is gray in color. The purpose of this study is to determine the spread of water pollution in the Dungmeri River Ngariboyo District Magetan Regency as a recipient of the water body receiving the leather tanning industry liquid waste by means of laboratory examination and to compare it with the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2001. This type of research is descriptive research. Data collection was carried out by sampling Dungmeri river water, shipments were sent to the laboratory and examination was carried out in the laboratory. Water samples were taken at 5 points, namely 50 m before the outlet, 50 m after the outlet, 250 m, and 500 m from the pollutant source. Sampling in the river was carried out using combined time sampling. The distribution of pollution by the tanning industry waste in the Dungmeri river can be seen in the graph showing that the BOD and COD parameters have decreased in pollution at a distance of 500 m. For this reason, it is suggested to the public to participate in protecting the environment and supervise the disposal of leather tanning industry waste for the leather tanning industry/factory to make efforts to improve wastewater treatment so that waste water does not pollute the environment or pollute river water.
