Abstract
ABSTRAK Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia No. 32 Tahun 2017 standar baku mutu Besi atau Fe dalam air adalah 1 mg/l. Hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan 2023 di Desa Kertosono Kecamatan Panggul Kabupaten Trenggalek masih banyak masyarakat yang menggunakan air sumur gali atau bor. Dari air yang di ambil di Desa Kertosono Kecamatan panggul Kabupaten Trenggalek di dapatkan kandungan Fe sebesar 3,56 mg/l yang artinya tidak memenuhi standar baku mutu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah aerasi dan filtrasi dengan pasir dapat menurunkan kadar Fe pada air sumur gali. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan peneltian deskriptif, populasi penelitian ini adalah air sumur gali dari Desa Kertosono KEC. Panggul Kab. Trenggalek dengan 12 sampel sumur gali. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sampel sesaat (grap sample) metode aerasi dan filtrasi dengan media pasir dan kerikil. Pada Penelitian ini peneliti melakukan perlakuan terhadap sampel menggunakan metode aerasi dan filtrasi dengan media pasir dan kerikil. Hasil analisis besi (fe) setelah perlakuan aerasi dan filtrasi selama 80 menit menunjukkan hasil penurunan untuk persentase yang diperoleh 99,65%. Hasil pengolahan besi (fe) setelah perlakuan 90 menit aerasi dan filtrasi menunjukkan diperoleh persentase hasil aerasi adalah 99,79%. Aerasi semakin lama semakin tinggi penurunan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan bahwa terjadi penurunan kadar Fe setelah dilakukan aerasi dan filtrasi selama 80 menit dan 90 menit pada air sumur gali di Desa Kertosono Kecamatan Panggul Kabupaten Trenggalek. Saran dari peneliti untuk peneliti selanjutnya perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan menambah variasi waktu. The purpose of this study was to determine whether aeration and filtration with sand can reduce Fe levels in dug well water. This type of research is a descriptive research method of research conducted to make a picture or describe a situation objectively. In this study the researchers treated the samples using the aeration and filtration method with sand and gravel media. The results of the analysis of iron (fe) after treatment after aeration and filtration for 80 minutes showed a decrease in the percentage obtained by 99.65%. The results of iron (fe) processing after 90 minutes of aeration and filtration showed that the percentage of aeration yields was 99.79%. The conclusion of this study was that there was a decrease in Fe levels after aeration and filtration for 80 minutes and 90 minutes in dug well water in Kertosono Village, Panggul District, Trenggalek Regency.
