Abstract

In general, there have many parenthood who have experience in distrubing of fulfilment sleeping need both quality and quantity. The purpose of this research is to analyzed the relaxation technique about breath dzikir to the sleeping need of parenthood in Hargo Dedali nursing home Surabaya. Design related to the kind of research has quasy experiment, the population all of parenthood in the Hargo Dedali nursing home Surabaya who is fulfiled the criteria inclusi, the sample have 14 persons it to taken in simple random sampling technique. Variabel independent the relaxation technique about breath dzikir, dependent of variabel sleeping need. The method of collected the data has quitioner used the pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), the analyzed with fisher exact test exam, with the mean of level (α)=0,05. The result of the research showed that after given by sleeping need treatment to parenthood in group almost of them fulfilled as many (71%). While, in group of control still more fulfilled as many 71%. The result of statistic as many p=0,029 which the mean there have difference sleeping need of parenthood between group of treatment with the group of control. Sleeping need of parenthood can the fulfill by doing the relaxation technique about breath dzikir. Therefore, it is need to implement this technique for erderly parenthood who have problems sleeping need and support from nursing home to increase the parentood motivation to do the relaxation technique about breath dzikir.
