Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya persistensi gigi pada anak-anak di Puskesmas Genteng Kulon Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya gambaran pengetahuan orang tua tentang persistensi meliputi pengertian, penyebab dan akibat dari persistensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yaitu, suatu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama membuat gambaran pengetahuan orang tua terhadap kasus persistensi di Puskesmas Genteng Kulon Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengisi kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan orang tua tentang persistensi di Puskesmas Genteng Kulon Kabupaten Banyuwangi dalam kategori kurang.
