Abstract
Karies gigi menjadi salah-satu permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang serius pada anak sekolah dasar (SD). Gigi molar pertama permanen merupakan gigi yang pertama kali erupsi pada umur sekitar 6-7 tahun setelah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan rahang sudah cukup memberi tempat, sehingga menjadi gigi paling berisiko terkena karies. Masalah: Tinggginya angaka Karies Gigi Molar Pertama Permanen Anak usia 6-8 tahun di RT 9 RW 2 Kelurahan Wonokromo Surabaya. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu tentang karies gigi molar pertama permanen anak usia 6-8 tahun di RT 9 RW 2 Kelurahan Wonkromo Surabaya. Jenis Penelitian: ini bersifat deskriptif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 45 orang. Metode pengumpulan data melalui kusioner.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang karies gigi molar pertama permanen anak usia 6-8 tahun di RT 9 RW 2 Kelurahan Wonokromo Surabaya ddalam kategori cukup.
