Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya karies pada anak usia 6 – 12 tahun di wilayah RW 1 dan RW 2 Kelurahan Lidah Kulon Kota Surabaya. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang karies gigi anak usia 6-12 tahun di wilayah RW 1 dan RW 2 Kelurahan Lidah Kulon Kota Surabaya tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 50 ibu dari anak usia 6-12 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan datang ke setiap rumah ibu dari ana usia 6-12 tahun untuk membagikan lembar kuisioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk penyajian data dalam bentuk table. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang karies gigi termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup.
