Abstract
Di Indonesia, persentase penduduk yang mempunyai masalah gigi dan mulut terus mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini menyebabkan pencabutan gigi dipilih sebagai perawatannya. Masalah penelitian adalah tingginya pencabutan gigi di RSUD Kanjuruhan Kepanjen. Dari data tindakan tahunan yang ada, menunjukan bahwa pencabutan gigi cenderung selalu menempati urutan pertama setiap bulannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan pasien tentang pencabutan gigi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah sebanyak 30 orang yaitu pasien yang datang dengan pencabutan gigi di RSUD Kanjuruhan Kepanjen. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan responden tentang pencabutan gigi termasuk dalam kategori kurang.
