Abstract

High Frequency (HF) Desiccator Aaron 940 ™ atau biasa disebut Electro Surgery Unit (ESU) berdaya rendah, menghasilkan arus frekuensi radio yang berguna untuk menghilangkan dan menghancurkan objek jerawat atau infeksi pada kulit. Hal ini dilakukan dengan melakukan prosedur pengeringan dan fulgurasi. Electrosurgical desiccation terjadi saat elektroda aktif ditempatkan langsung ke permukaan objek. Fulguration terjadi ketika elektroda aktif dipegang sedikit di atas objek. Istilah electrosurgery (juga disebut operasi frekuensi radio) mengacu pada arus bolak-balik frekuensi tinggi melalui jaringan untuk mendapatkan efek bedah tertentu. Dengan frekuensi diatas 300 kHz, penggunaan HF Desiccator dinilai lebih aman karena dapat menghilangkan efek faradik dan elektrolisis yang berbahaya bila terkena pasien langsung. Alat ini terdiri dari rangkaian pembangkit frekuensi tinggi, pengatur intensitas, transformator pengganda tegangan dan electrode keluaran.
