Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tidak ada satupun mahasiswa semester VI jurusan keperawatan gigi yang menggunakan APD secara lengkap saat melakukan perawatan gigi diklinik gigi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan Mahasiswa semester VI Jurusan Keperawatan Gigi Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya tentang APD tahun 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah sasaran 50 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan mahasiswa semester VI Jurusan Keperawatan Gigi Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya tentang APD tahun 2013/2014 dengan rata-rata 56,7% termasuk dalam kriteria sedang
