Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah banyaknya masyarakat desa Dempo Barat kecamatan pasean menggunakan gigi palsu pada tukang gigi Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat desa Dempo Barat kecamatan Pasean tentang pembuatan gigi palsu 2012, yang meliputi mengukur pengetahuan masyarakat tentang fungsi gigi palsu, mengukur pengetahuan masyarakat tentang syarat pembuatan gigi palsu, mengukur pengetahuan masyarakat tentang tempat pembuatan gigi palsu, mengukur pengetahuan masyarakat tentang akibat pembuatan gigi palsu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah sasarannya 21 masyarakat, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kusioner, teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan persen rata – rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pembuatan gigi palsu termasuk dalam kategori sedang.
