Abstract
Kebersihan gigi dan mulut merupakan salah satu upaya dalam rangka pencegahan penyakit gigi dan mulut. Berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan diperoleh data sebagai berikut: nilai OHIS mencapai 3,2 dengan kategori Jelek. Menurut standart WHO kategori OHIS sebagai berikut: Baik (0,0-1,2), Sedang (1,3-3,0), Jelek (3,1- 6,0). Hal ini berarti bahwa Kebersihan Gigi dan Mulut ibu hamil di BPS tersebut jelek dan belum sesuai dengan standart kriteria baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Tentang Pemeliharaan Kebersihan Gigi dan Mulut Selama Kehamilan di Bidan Praktek Swasta Ny.Lilik Sudjiati Menganti-Gresik. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan sasaran penelitian adalah 30 ibu hamil yang berkunjung di Bidan Praktek Swasta Ny.Lilik Sudjiati selama bulan Maret 2010 dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Tentang Pemeliharaan Kebersihan Gigi dan Mulut Selama Kehamilan di Bidan Praktek Swasta Ny.Lilik Sudjiati Menganti-Gresik termasuk dalam kriteria sedang.
