Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya presentase karies gigi pada siswa kelas V-A di SDN Ngagel Rejo 1 Surabaya Tahun 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya gambaran pengetahuan tentang karies gigi pada siswa kelas V-A SDN Ngagel Rejo 1 Surabaya tahun 2020 yang meliputi pengetahuan tentang pengertian karies gigi, pengetahuan tentang penyebab karies gigi, pencegahan karies gigi, pengetahuan tentang akibat lanjut dari karies gigi jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 35 siswa dari total 40 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan pemeriksaan.Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengetahuan tentang karies gigi pada siswa kelas V-A SDN Ngagel Rejo 1 Surabaya tahun 2020 termasuk dalam kriteria Rendah
