Abstract
Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) UPT Industri Kulit dan Produk Kulit Magetan mempunyai kapasitas 600m3/hari. Proses pengolahan limbah pada IPAL LIK Magetan merupakan proses pengolahan secara lengkap yang meliputi proses fisik yang menggunakan screen kasar (bar screen), screen halus (mechanical screen), bak pengendap lumpur dan bak filtrasi. Proses Kimia pada bak netralisasi, koagulasi dan flokulasi dan Proses Bakteriologis yang menggunakan lumpur aktif pada bak aerasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat efisiensi kinerja setiap unit di Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah LIK Magetan ditinjau dari parameter BOD, COD, dan TSS. Dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan desai Cross Sectional. Pada proses sedimentasi I terjadi penurunan BOD, COD dan TSS secara berurutan yaitu 20,5%; 15,22% dan 19,41%. Pada proses Kimia 13,59%; 2,19% dan -61,14%. Pada proses aerasi 44,96%; 59,85%; 51,81%. Dan pada proses Tertiary Treatment -13,16%; -36,06% dan 7,85%. Hal tersebut masih belum memenuhi standar derajat pengolahan yang seharusnya dicapai dari berbagai unit proses. Yang kemudian mengakibatkan buangan proses di IPAL masih melebihi baku mutu. The waste treatment process at IPAL LIK Magetan is a complete treatment process that includes physical processes that use rough screens (bar screens), smooth screens (mechanical screens), silt settling baskets and filtration tanks. Chemical processes in neutralization, coagulation and flocculation tanks and bacteriological processes that use activated sludge in aeration tanks. This study aims to evaluate the level of performance efficiency of each unit in the Magetan LIK Wastewater Treatment Plant in terms of BOD, COD, and TSS parameters. With this type of descriptive research with Cross Sectional design. In the sedimentation process I decreased BOD, COD and TSS sequentially, namely 20.5%; 15.22% and 19.41%. In the chemical process 13.59%; 2.19% and -61.14%. In the aeration process 44.96%; 59.85%; 51.81%. And in the Tertiary Treatment process -13.16%; -36.06% and 7.85%. This still does not meet the standard degree of processing that should be achieved from various process units. Which then results in process discharges at WWTP still exceeding the quality standard.
