Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya status kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada siswa kelas IV SD Darul Ulum Surabaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang cara pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut yang meliputi tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang frekuensi dan waktu menyikat gigi, tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang cara menyikat gigi dan tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang makanan yang mempengaruhi kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan populasi siswa kelas IV SD Darul Ulum Surabaya sebayak 25 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner kemudian dianalisa menggunakan analisa tabel dengan dibuat presentase dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang frekuensi dan waktu menyikat gigi dan tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang cara menyikat gigi masih kurang sedangkan untuk tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang makanan yang memepengaruhi kebersihan gigi dan mulut dalam kategori sedang.
