Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya status kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa kelas IIIA SDN MOJO III surabaya Tahun 2012. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan siswa tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada siswa kelas IIIA SDN MOJO III tahun 2012, yang meliputi pengetahuan siswa tentang cara menyikat gigi, pengetahuan siswa tentang waktu dan frekuensi menyikat gigi, pengetahuan siswa tentang alat dan bahan yang digunakan untuk menyikat gigi, dan pengetahuan siswa tentang makanan yang berpengaruh terhadap kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah sasarannya 33 siswa, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah membagikan lembar kuisioner, teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan persen rata – rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa kelas IIIA SDN MOJO III tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dalam kategori sedang
