Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah status kebersihan gigi dan mulut ibu-ibu PKK di Kalilom lor indah RT 10 RW 10 Surabaya tahun 2012 diketahui OHI-S 3,16. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu-ibu PKK di Kalilom lor indah RT 10 RW 10 Surabaya tahun 2012, yang meliputi pengetahuan ibu-ibu PKK tentang cara menyikat gigi, pengetahuan ibu-ibu PKK tentang frekuensi dan waktu menyikat gigi, dan peengetahuan ibu-ibu PKK tentang makanan yang berpengaruh terhadap kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah sasarannya 25 ibu-ibu PKK, instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar kuisioner, teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan persen rata-rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut termasuk dalam kategori kurang tahu.
