Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah status kebersihan gigi siswa kelas III-A SDN Mojo III Surabaya tahun 2012 diketahui OHIS rata-rata 3,48. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan tentang kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada siswa kelas III-A SDN Mojo III Surabaya tahun 2012, yang meliputi pengetahuan siswa tentang cara menyikat gigi, pengetahuan siswa tentang frekuensi dan waktu menyikat gigi, pengetahuan siswa tentang makanan yang berpengaruh terhadap kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jumlah sasarannya 33 siswa, metode pengumpilan data yang digunakan adalah kuisioner, teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan persen rata – rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa tentang kebersihan gigi termasuk dalam kategori cukup.
