Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Rendahnya status kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa kelas V SDN Perak Barat VI Surabaya, OHI-S mencapai nilai 3,66dengan kategori buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan nilai kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah diberi penyuluhan pada siswa kelas V SDN Perak Barat Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Perak Barat Surabaya dengan sample sebanyak 32 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dengan melakukan pemeriksaan gigi pada responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah Paired Simple T Test, dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan didapat kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut antara sebelum dan sesudah diberi penyuluhan pada siswa kelas V SDN Perak Barat Surabaya.
