Abstract
Pemeriksaan gigi siswa kelas V SDN Entalsewu Sidoarjo, diperoleh nilai OHIS rata – rata 3,36 yang menunjukkan bahwa kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa masih termasuk dalam kategori buruk. Masalah yang muncul adalah rendahnya status kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa kelas V SDN Entalsewu Sidoarjo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya pengetahuan tentang pola makan siswa kelas V SDN Entalsewu Sidoarjo tahun 2012. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan populasi yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner dan data yang diperoleh dari hasil kuisioner serta diolah dengan cara tabulasi. Setelah dilakukan penelitian pada siswa kelas V SDN Entalsewu Sidoarjo, ternyata diketahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang pola makan yang meliputi makanan mana yang baik dan mana yang buruk serta akibat dari konsumsi makanan sembarangan terhadap kebersihan gigi dan mulut sangat baik.
