Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil survey pendahuluan yang dilakukan pada tanggal 21 Nopember 2011, diperoleh hasil DMF-T rata-rata 3,2 termasuk kategori buruk, masalah yang terdapat pada penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka DMF-T pada siswa kelas V SD. KH. Abdullah Ubaid I Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan dan peranan orang tua tentang pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siawa kelas V di SD. KH. Abdullah Ubaid I Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi terdiri orang tua siswa di SD KH. Abdullah Ubaid I Surabaya 34 orang. Pengetahuan orang tua dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak mempunyai hubungan dengan perananan orang tua dalam kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak.
