Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka gigi yang diindikasi untuk dilakukan pencabutan gigi pada siswa kelas 2 B SDI Raden Paku Surabaya Tahun 2013. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan orang tua siswa tentang pencabutan gigi sulung, yang meliputi pengetahuan tentang indikasi pencabutan gigi sulung, akibat lanjut bila tidak melakukan pencabutan gigi sulung dan komplikasi dalam pencabutan gigi sulung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 23 orang tua, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar kuisioner, teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan persentase rata – rata dan disajikan dalam bentuk table. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan orang tua siswa tentang pencabutan gigi sulung dalam kategori kurang.
