Abstract
Kesehatan gigi merupakan bagian dari kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Status kesehatan gigi dapat diketahui melalui data awal pemeriksaan gigi siswa di TK Muslimat NU 82 Taman Sidoarjo tahun 2013 Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkatnya angka karies gigi sulung pada siswa yang belum sesuai dengan tingkat kesehatan gigi yang telah ditetapkan WHO yaitu def-t ≤ 2 dengan kategori baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang perawatan gigi dengan angka karies gigi sulung pada anak TK Muslimat NU 82 Taman Sidoarjo tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan Cross-Sectional. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa TK Muslimat NU 82 Taman Sidoarjo sebanyak 60 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan kuisioner. Tehnik analisa data yang digunakan adalah Chi-Square. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa adanya hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang perawatan gigi dengan angka karies gigi sulung pada anak TK Muslimat NU 82 Taman Sidoarjo.
