Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya prevalensi karies gigi sulung pada anak prasekolah di TK-IT ABFA Pamekasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku orang tua dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak dengan karies gigi sulung pada anak prasekolah di TK-IT ABFA Pamekasan tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan dari populasi yaitu seluruh siswa TK-IT ABFA Pamekasan disertai orang tua siswa sebagai responden sejumlah 64 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi untuk memperoleh data karies gigi sulung siswa dan kuisioner untuk menggukur perilaku orang tua dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi Chi-square. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan perilaku orang tua dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak dengan karies gigi sulung pada anak prasekolah di TK-IT ABFA Pamekasan.
