Abstract
Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka DMF-T siswa kelas IV SDN Ngletih Kota Kediri Tahun 2013. Tujuan khusus dari karya tulis ini ialah mengukur pengetahuan siswa tentang karies gigi, mengukur pengetahuan siswa tentang pencegahan karies, tentang macam-macam perawatan gigi, dan tentang manfaat perawatan gigi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Ngletih Kota Kediri Tahun 2013 sebanyak 35 siswa, dan tidak menggunakan sampel. Metode pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah presentase rata-rata. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui, pengetahuan siswa tentang karies kurang, pengetahuan siswa tentang pencegahan karies kurang, pengetahuan siswa tentang macam-macam perawatan gigi sedang,dan pengetahuan siswa tentang manfaat perawatan gigi kurang.
