Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil survei yang dilakukan pada bulan Februari tahun 2013, diperoleh hasil DMF-T dengan nilai 3,1. Menurut Depkes RI 2000, kategori baik untuk DMF-T adalah ≤ 2. Jadi masalahnya tingginya DMF-T. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya pengetahuan siswa kelas IV MI”ISLAMIYAH”Bangsri Plandaan Jombang tentang makanan kariogenik yang menyebabkan tingginya DMF-T. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian secara deskriptif dengan jumlah sasaran 23 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar kuisioner. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengetahuan siswa kelas IV MI”ISLAMIYAH”Bangsri Plandaan Jombang tentang makanan kariogenik yang menyebabkan tingginya DMF-T termasuk dalam kategori sedang.
