Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya status kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada anak panti asuhan Ulin Nuha Sidoarjo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi pengurus panti asuhan tentang kebersihan gigi dan mulut di panti asuhan Ulin Nuha Sidoarjo Tahun 2014, yang meliputi motivasi pengurus panti (orang tua asuh) Ulin Nuha dalam hal menganjurkan kepada anak panti asuhan untuk menggosok gigi, serta motivasi yang diberikan pengurus panti asuhan tentang makanan dan minuman yang mempengaruhi kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Jumlah sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah 9 Orang. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa motivasi pengurus panti tentang kebersihan gigi dan mulut di panti asuhan Ulin Nuha pada tahun 2014 termasuk dalam kategori buruk.
