Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka def-t pada peserta didik PPT Mutiara Bunda Surabaya tahun 2014. Pesreta didik memliki angka def-t 5,9 dengan kategori tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dalam memelihara kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak dengan tingginya angka def-t pada peserta didik PPT Mutiara Bunda Surabaya tahun 2014. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah orang tua peserta didik PPT Mutiara Bunda Surabaya tahun 2014. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pemeriksaan dan kuisioner. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah Chi-square. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa adanya hubungan pola asuh orang tua dalam memelihara kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak dengan tingginya angka def-t pada peserta didik PPT Mutiara Bunda Surabaya tahun 2014.
