Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka karies pada siswa TK B di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 21 Surabaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian susu formula dengan karies anak pada siswa TK B di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfall 21 Surabaya tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 40 orang, metode pengumpulan data variabel bebas dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan varabel terikat dengan melakukan pemeriksaan, teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan persen dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dalam menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan melihat hasil pearson Chi-Square. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian susu formula dengan karies anak pada siswa TK B di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul 21 Surabaya. Dimana pengetahuan ibu dari siswa TK B di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 21 Surabaya masuk dalam kategori kurang (65%) dan dari 40 siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 18 siswa.
