Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pH saliva siswa kelas VI SDN Ujung V/30 Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada perubahan pH saliva sebelum dan sesudah mengunyah buah kurma (deglet noor) dalam pencegahan karies siswa kelas VI SDN Ujung V/30 Surabaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (One Group Pretest Posttest) dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 29 siswa, metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik (Uji Paired T-test). Hasil penelitian ini adalah ada perubahan pH saliva sebelum dan sesudah mengunyah buah kurma (deglet noor) dalam pencegahan karies siswa kelas VI SDN Ujung V/30 Surabaya Tahun 2015.
