Abstract
Karies gigi adalah proses patologis berupa kerusakan yang terbatas di jaringan gigi mulai dari email terus ke dentin karena faktor-faktor yang berada di dalam mulut. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya nilai indeks DMF-T 2,16 pada 34 siswa yang mengalami karies gigi permanen di SDN Blooto 1 kota Mojokerto tahun 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan siswa kelas 5 SDN Blooto 1 tentang karies gigi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Analisa data mengunakan tabel data dari hasil kuesioner yang di bagikan ke siswa kelas 5. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hampir seluruh siswa mengetahui pengetahuan tentang karies tetapi semua siswa mengalami karies gigi permanen.
