Abstract
Masalah yang terdapat di penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka karies gigi siswa SDN Ngepung 1 Patianrowo Nganjuk pada tahun 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Peran Guru Dalam Upaya Menurunkan Angka Karies Gigi Pada Siswa SDN Ngepung 1 Patianrowo Nganjuk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskrinitif dengan 14 responden, yaitu guru di SDN Ngepung 1 Patianrowo Nganjuk pada tahun 2018. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran guru dalam membantu pengumpulan data murid tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut termasuk kriteria sedang, peran guru dalam memberikan pendidikan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada siswa termasuk kriteria sedang, peran guru dalam melakukan pembinaan Kader Tiwisada pada siswa termasuk kriteria kurang, peran guru dalam melatih menggosok gigi pada siswa termasuk kriteria sedang, peran guru dalam melakukan rujukan keluhan penyakit gigi pada siswa termasuk dalam kriteria sedang
