Abstract
Kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan bagian dari kesehatan tubuh yang tidak dapat dipisahkan satu dengan yang lainnya karena akan mempengaruhi kesehatan tubuh keseluruhan. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah angka PTI sebesar 0,05% pada siswa kelas VIIB MTsN Rungkut Surabaya tahun 2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui gambaran pengetahuan orang tua siswa tentang penambalan gigi terhadap rendahnya angka PTI siswa kelas VIIB MTsN Rungkut Surabaya tahun 2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 38 orang, teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah mengumpulkan data hasil kuesioner kemudian diolah dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pengetahuan orang tua siswa tentang penambalan gigi didapatkan hasil dengan kategori sedang.
