Abstract
Masalah penelitian ini adalah angka karies siswa kelas VI SD Hidayatul Mustaqim Surabaya Tahun 2016. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku menyikat gigi dengan angka karies . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik crosssectional. Populasi yang diambil untuk penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD Hidayatul Mustaqim Surabaya tahun 2016 yang berjumlah 20 siswa, Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 18 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk variabel bebas yaitu lembar observasi dan untuk variable terikat yaitu lembar pemeriksaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Fisher’s ExactTest. Hasil analisis diperoleh Tidak ada hubungan perilaku menyikat gigi dengan angka karies siswa kelas VI SD Hidayatul Mustaqim Surabaya tahun 2016.
