Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya nilai DMFT siswa kelas X AK 5 SMK Dr.Soetomo Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola menyikat gigi dengan nilai DMFT di kelas X AK 5 SMK Dr.Soetomo Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik cross sectional. Sasaran yang diambil untuk penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AK 5 SMK Dr.Soetomo Surabaya yang berjumlah 42 orang. Metode pengumpulan data teknik menyikat gigi dengan simulasi menyikat gigi sedangkan frekuensi dan waktu menyikat gigi dengan wawancara serta pemeriksaan nilai DMFT pada siswa kelas X AK 5 SMK Dr.Soetomo. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Chi-Square. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pola menyikat gigi dengan nilai DMFT di kelas X AK 5 SMK Dr.Soetomo Surabaya tahun 2016
