Abstract
Kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan bagian terpenting dari tubuh yang harus selalu dijaga dan dibersihkan, karena dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan seseorang secara keseluruhan. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka karies gigi pada ibu hamil yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul Blitar Tahun 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang karies gigi di Puskesmas Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 16 orang, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Mean (rata-rata), metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kemudian diolah dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel, dengan hasil sebagai berikut: pengertian tentang karies gigi dalam kategori baik (95,83%), penyebab karies gigi dalam kategori baik (87,5%), dan pencegahan karies gigi termasuk dalam kategori cukup (71,9%). Sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang karies gigi di UPTD Puskesmas Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul Blitar 2018 dengan kategori baik (85,1%)
