Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya prevalensi karies pada gigi geraham pertama permanen siswa kelas I-VI SDN Pakis I Surabaya pada tahun 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan perilau pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan prevalensi karies gigi geraham pertama permanen siswa kelas I-VI SDN Pakis I Surabaya tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observational analitic, yakni penelitian yang menganalisis hubungan antar variabel tanpa adanya perlakuan oleh peneliti. Jumlah sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah 68 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data variabel bebas melakukan metode observasi dan angket. Pada variabel terikat menggunakan lembar pemeriksaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS dengan uji Chi-Square Test. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan muut dengan prevalensi karies geraham pertama permanen pada siswa kelas I-VI SDN Pakis I Surabaya tahun 2018.
