Abstract

ABSTRAK Tikus merupakan mamalia yang sangat merugikan dan mengganggu kehidupan manusia. Di bidang kesehatan, tikus dapat menjadi reservoir beberapa patogen penyebab penyakit pada manusia. Dalam kegiatan pengendalian tikus yang berlokasi di Pelabuhan Probolinggo, selama tahun 2022 pemasangan perangkap menggunakan umpan kelapa bakar angka keberhasilan penangkapan tikus masih rendah yaitu 1,2% yang seharusnya 7%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui jumlah tikus yang tertangkap menggunakan berbagai macam umpan antara lain umpan kelapa bakar, ikan asin, dan tempe goreng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment) dengan desain penelitian Non equlivalent control group design. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan data tikus yang tertangkap dengan umpan kelapa bakar 6 ekor dengan succes trap 6 % dengan umpan ikan asin 7 ekor dengan succes trap 7 % dengan umpan jagung 2 ekor dengan succes trap 2 % dengan umpan tempe goreng 5 ekor degan suces trap 5%. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis diketahui untuk nilai P Value yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Asymp. Sig adalah 0,401 (> α). Artinya umpan kelapa bakar, ikan asin, tempe goreng dan jagung memiliki efektifitas hampir sama satu dengan yang lain. Dalam upaya pengendalian tikus sabaiknya memperhatikan beberapa faktor antara lain umpan yang digunakan, peletakan perangkap, dan kondisi perangkap yang digunakan. In the field of Health, mice can be the reservoir of several pathogens that cause disease in humans. In rat control activities located at Probolinggo Port, during 2022 the installation of traps using burnt coconut bait the success rate of catching rats is still low at 1.2% which should be 7%. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of rats caught using a variety of baits such as bait coconut, salted fish, and fried tempeh. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with Non-equivalent control group design. From the results obtained data rats caught with coconut bait 6 tail with succes trap 6% with salted fish bait 7 tail with succes trap 7% with corn bait 2 tail with succes trap 2% with fried tempeh bait 5 tail with suces trap 5%. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Kruskal - Wallis test is known for the value of P Value indicated by the value of Asymmp. The Sig is 0.401 ( > α ). This means that grilled coconut bait, salted fish, fried tempeh and corn have almost the same effectiveness with each other. In an effort to control rats, it is better to pay attention to several factors, including the bait used, the laying of traps, and the conditions of the traps used. .
