Abstract

Siska Tri Puspitasari “TINGKAT EFEKTIVITAS BIOINOKULAN DENGAN VARIASI WAKTU KONTAK UNTUK MENURUNKAN PARAMETER AMONIA (NH3) AIR LIMBAH DI RUMAH SAKIT GRIYA HUSADA KOTA MADIUN TAHUN 2024” xvi Halaman Permulaan + 67 Halaman + 9 Tabel +7 Gambar + 11 Lampiran Hasil pemeriksaan amonia air limbah Rumah Sakit Griya Husada Madiun melebihi standart baku mutu peraturan gubernur Jawa Timur Nomor 72 Tahun 2013. Hal tersebut membuat kurangnya ketersedian oksigen dalam air. Penambahan bioinokulan bertujuan mengukur tingkat efektivitas bioinokulan FBM (Ferry,Beny,Mujianto) untuk menurunkan kadar amonia sebelum dan sesudah penambahan bioinokulan dengan variasi waktu kontak 1 hari, 2 hari dan 3 hari Jenis penelitian ini pra experiment dengan desain one grup pretest dan postest. Populasi penelitian ini air limbah cair rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel adalah pada titik bak inlet sebelum dilakukan perlakuan dan titik outlet sesudah dilakukan penambahan bioinokulan. Besaran sampel membutuhkan 4 liter dengan 9 replikasi menggunakan metode grab sampling. Hasil penelitian ini terbukti penambahan bioinokulan efektiv dalam menurunkan kadar amonia. Variasi waktu kontak 1 hari 0,33 mg/l ( 65 %), waktu kontak 2 hari 0,40 mg/l (58%), paling efektif yaitu variasi waktu kontak 3 hari efektivitas penurunan kadar amonia sebesar 0,20 mg/l (79%). Penurunan kadar amonia terjadi karena bakteri Nitrobackter sp. dan Nitrosomonas sp mengalami proses nitritasi, nitrasi, serta denitrifikasi yang mampu mengubah amonia menjadi gas nitrogen. Penambahan bioinokulan secara berkala perlu dilakukan agar bioinokulan mampu bekerja secara efektif untuk menurunkan kadar amonia dan sebelum digunakan pastikan bioinokulan sudah diaerasi minimal 24 jam untuk mengaktifkan bakteri yang ada didalamnya. This makes the lack of oxygen availability in the water. The addition of bioinoculants aims to measure the effectiveness of bioinoculants FBM (Ferry, Beny, Mujianto) to reduce ammonia levels before and after the addition of bioinoculants with variations in contact time of 1 day, 2 days and 3 days. This type of research is pre experiment with one group pretest and postest design. The population of this study was hospital wastewater. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample is at the inlet tub point before treatment and the outlet point after the addition of bioinoculants. The sample size requires 4 liters with 9 replications using the grab sampling method. The results of this study prove that the addition of bioinoculants is effective in reducing ammonia levels. The 1-day contact time variation is 0,33 mg/l (65%), the 2-day contact time is 0,40 mg/l (58%), the most effective is the 3-day contact time variation in the effectiveness of reducing ammonia levels by 0,20 mg/l (79%). The decrease in ammonia levels occurs because the bacteria Nitrobackter sp. and Nitrosomonas sp. experience the process of nitritation, nitration, and denitrification which are able to convert ammonia into nitrogen gas. Periodic addition of bioinoculants needs to be done so that bioinoculants are able to work effectively to reduce ammonia levels and before use, make sure the bioinoculant is ready to use.
