Abstract
Muhamad Agus Budi Wibowo PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN SANTRI TENTANG PENYAKIT SKABIES MENGGUNAKAN METODE CERAMAH DENGAN MEDIA LEAFLET DI PONDOK PESANTREN MA’ARIF MOJOPURNO MAGETAN TAHUN 2024 (xiv + 45 halaman + 8 tabel + 5 lampiran) Berdasarkan kasus skabies pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Ma’arif Mujopurno Ngariboyo pada tahun 2023 ditemukan sebanyak 12 dari 33 santri menderita skabies. Menurut hasil wawancara dengan kelapa asrama menunjukkan bahwa sedikitnya edukasi mengenai penyakit berbasis lingkungan khususnya skabies. Berdasar dari temuan tersebut, dilakukan observasi pada lingkungan pesantren maupun personal hygiene santri ditemukan masih ada pemakaian alat mandi seperti handuk dan sabun yang digunkan bersama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang dikaji secara deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah populasi santri di Pondok Pesantren Ma’arif Mojopurno yang berjumlah 33 santri. Metode dalam pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan cara survey melalui pengisian kuisioner yang bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat pengetahuan santri sebelum dan sesudah diberikan promosi kesehatan menggunakan metode ceramah dengan media leaflet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan santri tentang penyakit skabies sebelum diberikan promosi kesehatan berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 19.2 (92%) dan pengetahuan santri tentang penyakit skabies sesudah diberikan promosi kesehatan berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 20 (100%) menunjukkan penggunaan metode ceramah dengan media leaflet efektif. (xiv +45 pages + 8 tables + 5 attachments) Based on scabies cases among students at the Ma'arif Mujopurno Ngariboyo Islamic Boarding School in 2023, it was found that 12 out of 33 students were suffering from scabies. According to the results of interviews with dormitories, it shows that there is little education regarding environmental-based diseases, especially scabies. Based on these findings, observations were made on the Islamic boarding school environment and the personal hygiene of the students, and it was found that there were still shared toiletries such as towels and soap. This type of research is quantitative research which is studied descriptively. The sample in this study was the population of students at the Ma'arif Mojopurno Islamic Boarding School, totaling 33 students. The sampling method is total sampling. Data were collected by means of a survey by filling out a questionnaire which aims to assess the level of knowledge of students before and after being given health promotion using the lecture method using leaflet media. The results of the study showed that students' knowledge about scabies before being given health promotion was in the good category with an average value of 19.2 (92%) and students' knowledge about scabies after being given health promotion was in the good category with an average value of 20 (100% ) shows that the use of the lecture method using leaflet media is effective.
