Abstract

Eva Munawaroh ”PENURUNAN KADAR TSS (TOTAL SUSPENDED SOLID) MENGGUNAKAN METODE ELEKTROKOAGULASI DENGAN VARIASI LAMA WAKTU KONTAK PADA LIMBAH CAIR TAHU” Xii Halaman Pemula + 41 Halaman Isi + 6 Tabel + 4 Gambar + 10 Lampiran Limbah cair tahu tanpa adanya pengolahan yang memiliki kandungan berlebihan dan langsung di buang ke lingkungan dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan yang akan menyababkan kekeruhan pada air dan menghalang penetrasi radiasi matahari ke lingkungan akuatik, sehingga menghambat proses fotosintesisi yang dilakukan oleh mikroorganisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan kadar TSS (Total Suspended Solid) pada limbah cair tahu dengan metode Elektrokoagulasi dengan variasi waktu kontak 50 menit, 55 menit, dan 60 menit. Masing-masing perlakuan di lakukan pengulangan atau replikasi sebanyak 6 kali, jadi penelitian ini memiliki jumlah sampel sebanyak 24. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian analitik. Sampel yang digunakan adalah limbah cair tahu yang di ambil dari pabrik tahu yang berada di Desa Driyorejo Kecamatan Nguntoronadi Kabupaten Magetan, sebanyak 20 liter. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dengan uji anova one way menggunakan software SPSS Versi 23. Hasil kadar TSS (Total Suspended Solid) sebelum perlakuan 175,83 mg/L, sesudah perlakuan 50 menit 151,66 mg/L, 55 menit 123,5 mg/L, dan 60 menit 86 mg/L. Ada perbedaan kadar TSS (Total Suspended Solid) pada limbah cair tahu sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan Elektokoagulasi pada waktu kontak 50 menit, 55 menit, dan 60 menit. Hasil analisis nilai sig. (p value) 0,000 lebih kecil (<) dari 0,05. Waktu terbaik pengolahan limbah cair tahu menggunakan Elektrokoagulasi pada waktu kontak 60 menit 86 mg/L .Diharapkan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dengan mencoba menambahkan waktu kontak yang lebih lama agar hasil lebih maksimal. This study aims to reduce TSS (Total Suspended Solid) levels in tofu liquid waste using the Electrocoagulation method with variations in contact time of 50 minutes, 55 minutes, and 60 minutes. Each treatment was repeated or replicated 6 times, so this study had a total of 24 samples. This study uses quantitative methods with analytical research types. The sample used is tofu liquid waste taken from a tofu factory located in Driyorejo Village, Nguntoronadi District, Magetan Regency, as much as 20 liters. The results of TSS (Total Suspended Solid) levels before treatment 175.83 mg/L, after treatment 50 minutes 151.66 mg/L, 55 minutes 123.5 mg/L, and 60 minutes 86 mg/L. There are differences in TSS (Total Suspended Solid) levels in tofu liquid waste before and after Electocoagulation treatment at contact times of 50 minutes, 55 minutes, and 60 minutes. The results of the analysis of the sig value. (p value) 0.000 is smaller (<) than 0.05. The best time for processing tofu liquid waste using Electrocoagulation at a contact time of 60 minutes 86 mg/L.
